Melt Arts CIC is a Black-led, not-for-profit performing arts organisation based in the heart of Birkenhead, Wirral.
Founded in 2018, Melt Arts CIC exists to remove barriers to high-quality arts education and create meaningful pathways for children, young people and emerging artists to progress from community participation to industry opportunities.
Through Dance, Musical Theatre, Artist Development and Community Engagement, we are committed to inspiring creativity, developing talent and empowering individuals through the performing arts.
At Melt Arts CIC, we believe the arts should be accessible to everyone.
We are committed to creating inclusive, welcoming and supportive environments where all participants, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), can thrive and achieve their full potential.
"Melt Arts classes helped me gain confidence as well as improve my technique whilst having fun doing new and different choreography every week. They always have such a supportive environment, and i look forward to taking more classes in the future. I would fully recommend these classes to dancers of any capability!"
